Background

After graduating from the University of Vienna (Juridicum) with a degree in law (Mag.iur) in 2011 she completed her court traineeship at Vienna Upper Regional Court. During her degree, she also completed a course as an EU expert at CIFE Vienna. From 2016 to 2017, she completed her LL.M. in international business law at Singapore Management University and Queen Mary University of London with a strong focus on IT Law.

Since 2012, Jana has worked as an associate for SAXINGER. She passed the Austrian bar exam in July 2015 and has been an Attorney at Law since December 2017. In April 2021, she was promoted to salary partner. Since April 2023, Jana has been a member of “SALON REAL, a club by and for Women in the Real Estate Industry”.

Expertise

Jana primarily deals with real estate, corporate as well as public procurement, banking & finance and IT Law. She has experience and expertise in advising international companies in relation to real estate, M&A and financial transactions. Furthermore, she has special knowledge in the area of public construction and engineering law and assists in national as well as international infrastructure projects.
